A man was shot and killed while in a car waiting at a red light in Crown Heights, according to police.
Police say the 37-year-old victim was sitting in the passenger seat of a Jeep at the intersection of Atlantic Avenue when someone on a bicycle rode up and shot him at around 11 p.m. Wednesday.
The woman behind the wheel of the car tried to drive away, but only made it about halfway up the street before crashing in front of 619 Classon Ave.
Police found the victim with gunshot wounds to his chest and legs. He was rushed to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. The woman in the driver seat was also taken to the hospital to be checked out but was not physically injured.
Surveillance video of the shooting shows a man what appears to be a gun in his hand walk right up to the Jeep and start shooting.
Officers are still searching for the suspect. Police have not identified the victim yet, but say he is from Brooklyn.
