A Brooklyn man was found dead Monday after being stabbed multiple times in a Bronx apartment.
Police say they responded to a 911 call Monday at 2140 Cruger Ave. around 10 a.m.
They found a man inside apartment 2C with multiple stab wounds to his torso.
Citizen app video shows multiple NYPD units still at the scene at around 5 p.m.
Police say that the body had been there more than a day, and News 12 is told the 911 call was for a foul odor.
His body was found in a second-floor apartment. He was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency medical services.
Police did not tell News 12 what the victim was stabbed with, or how many times he was stabbed.
They are still trying to track down the tenant who lives in the apartment the body was found in.
Police have identified the victim as 23-year-old Adam Saunders, who lives on East 42nd Street in East Flatbush.
The building superintendent let him inside the building.
It is not clear why Saunders was at the location, but investigators say he has been there more than once.
There are no arrests, and the investigation is ongoing.
