15h agoPolice in Brooklyn are investigating the fatal shooting of a woman and her dog inside a bodega Sunday night.
Surveillance video shows the moment the suspect fires around 9:45 p.m. Sunday night and 36-year-old Jennifer Ynoa drops to the ground. The video also shows the shooter getting into a vehicle and taking off.
Police say she was shot in the torso and was unresponsive when they arrived.
She was rushed to Brooklyn hospital, where she was later pronounced dead.
Officers say both Ynoa and her dog were killed.
News 12 reached out to Ynoa's family, but they declined to comment.
Officers are still searching for the shooter.
Anyone with information is asked to call the NYPD.
