Police: Brooklyn woman raped on Bronx rooftop

Police are looking for the man who allegedly raped a woman on the roof of a Bronx building over the weekend.
Officials say Temar Bishop raped a Brooklyn woman and left her beaten and bloodied on the roof of the Mitchell Houses on Alexander Avenue in Mott Haven.
Police say Bishop took the woman to the top floor of the building and, after raping her, punched and kicked her several times before she lost consciousness.
The 20-year-old woman suffered a fractured nose, numerous lacerations and missing teeth.
A tenant of the building, who wished to be anonymous, says she has seen Bishop around the neighborhood.
Other tenants say the problem is the building's roof is not secure. There are also no alarms, making the roof accessible.
News 12 reached out to the city's Department of Housing for a response. NYCHA said to refer our inquiries to the NYPD because the case is under police investigation.
The NYPD is offering a $2,500 reward for information leading to an arrest of Bishop.
