Police say a man died after crashing the car he was driving into a house in Williamsbridge Sunday morning. It happened around 6 a.m. on South Oak Drive. They say the driver of a BMW jumped the curb

Police say a man died after crashing the car he was driving into a house in Williamsbridge Sunday morning.
It happened around 6 a.m. on South Oak Drive.
They say the driver of a BMW jumped the curb and drove through a metal fence before crashing into bushes and then a house.
Police say the driver also struck several vehicles parked on the road along the way.
The drivers of those cars were woken up by police notifying them about damages to their vehicles.
Police say the driver was pronounce dead at the scene, minutes after the crash. It is unknown at this time what caused the driver to lose control of his car.
Witnesses at the scene and family members tell News 12 that it appears that the driver may have been shot prior to losing control of the vehicle, but police have not confirmed that information.
