6h agoA 21-year-old man was shot and killed in Edenwald overnight, according to the NYPD.
Police say they received a 911 call around 8:50 p.m. about a man being shot in the back of his home on Pratt Avenue. Police found he had been shot in the chest and was rushed to the hospital but died due to his injuries.
Police identified the victim as Nicholas Lewis.
Neighbors have said it is normally a peaceful area with many families living at the location for generations.
Lewis lived with his father, and neighbors say they were quiet and hardworking.
So far, police have not made any arrests.
