Police say the man who was stabbed on Cypress Avenue Thursday is 27-year-old Tyquise Bell from The Bronx. This all happened Thursday in broad daylight at around 4 p.m. just a few steps away from where he lived.

Police say they were called to the intersection of East 138th Street and Cypress Avenue. Thats where they found Bell stabbed in the chest. He was rushed to NYC Health and Hospitals Lincoln where he died.

This morning police are still searching for the person who stabbed Bell. All they can tell News 12 is that he was wearing all black when he was seen running from the scene.
