The victim of a fatal shooting Saturday night in Williamsbridge has been identified by police as 25-year-old Daniel Lachapel.

Police say they received a 911 call reporting the incident on Allerton Avenue at around 11 p.m.

Upon arrival, officers found Lachapel with a gunshot wound to his head. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

No arrests have been made yet, according to authorities. Anyone with information is urged to call police.
