State police say they are increasing patrols and cracking down on drunk and distracted driving during Memorial Day weekend.
The increased patrols will remain in effect through 3 a.m. on Tuesday, May 31.
Officials say drivers can expect to have checkpoints, as well as marked and unmarked police vehicles, on the roadways.
State police say in 2020, they arrested 185 people for driving while intoxicated and issued over 9,000 tickets.
