Police are investigating several larcenies at high-end stores in Westchester - following a trend of "grab-and-go" robberies happening in the nation.
The Westchester Mall in White Plains has experienced two incidents - a grand larceny at the Burberry store and a display window being smashed at the Louis Vuitton store.
In addition, a man described as being in his 20s stole a $14,000 gold and diamond tennis bracelet from a sales clerk at the Macy's store at the Palisades Mall in West Nyack.
A spokesperson from the Westchester Mall issued a statement, saying, "We have taken a number of additional steps to further enhance the security program at The Westchester, including adding White plains police officers to patrol the property, increasing additional private security patrol, deploying specially trained K-9 patrols among other measures."
Police say no arrests have been made in these incidents.
