The NYPD says it has identified the man found in a car with a gunshot wound in the Bronx over the weekend.

Police identified the victim as 41-year-old Craig Thomas from Long Island.

Officers say Thomas was found inside a car with a gunshot to his torso. He was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Another victim in the car, a 34-year-old man, had been shot in the arm and is expected to be OK.

The investigation is ongoing.
