Police have arrested a man in connection to a fatal shooting in Morrisania early in August.

Investigators tell News 12 that 29-year-old Joes Avilesis is in custody and faces murder charges.

Police originally released images of four men they wanted to speak with earlier in the investigation.

News 12 is told officers discovered the victim, 36-year-old Curtis Holley, on the street near East 165th Street and Prospect Avenue with a gunshot wound to the chest and back on Aug. 8.

Holley later died at the hospital.
