The man accused of killing his 4-year-old son and the child's mother was remanded at his arraignment on multiple murder charges Wednesday.

Police charged Isaac Duran Infante, a 23-year-old Pennsylvania man, with two counts of second-degree murder and a count of first-degree murder for allegedly strangling a former Bronx teacher and her 4-year-old son, who he had fathered.

Duran allegedly told police he killed the two because he could not afford to pay child support and that he was dissatisfied with the way his son was being raised. 

As News 12 has reported, Felicia Barahona, 36, was found dead in an apartment at 640 W. 153rd St. at 8:15 a.m. Monday.

Police say she had an electrical cord wrapped around her neck and that her 4-year-old son, Miguel Barahona, was also found dead with his head submerged in water. 

Barahona was fired from her job as a science teacher at Dewitt Clinton High School in 2012 after the school says she had a romantic fling with the then 17-year-old Duran, a student at the school, and became pregnant with his child.

He is due back in court on Dec. 30.
