Three men were caught on video attacking a man inside of his apartment building in East New York, police say.

The video shows the three suspects standing outside of the victim's apartment door on June 24 before the brutal assault.

Police say the three knocked on the victim's door and started an argument with him before the members of the group assaulted him.

Authorities say the victim suffered a cut above his eye, and pain and swelling on his face and body, but did not need hospital treatment.

Sources say police are investigating the possible relationship between one of the suspects and a neighbor of the victim.
