14h agoA man attempting to shoplift from a Bronx store assaulted a security guard when he was confronted, police say.
Police say the incident happened inside a Duane Reade on East 170th Street in Concourse Village on Tuesday.
Police say the man attempted to steal some items on the shelf and when the guard tried to stop him.
The suspect scratched the guard's forearm before running away.
