A man was fatally struck on the Cross Bronx Expressway and East Tremont Avenue early Sunday morning. 

Police say that an unidentified male was crossing the highway when he was struck by a Chrysler sedan and was pronounced dead. The driver stayed at the scene. 

According to police, no criminality is suspected and the NYPD Collision Investigation Squad is looking into the incident.
