Police: Man faces multiple charges for deadly crash in Queens

Police say Ray Perez, of Long Island, was driving a Nissan Altima at 47th Street and 28th Avenue in Astoria when he crashed into a Honda pickup truck.

A 27-year-old driver is facing multiple charges for a crash that resulted in the death of his passenger in Queens.

Police say Ray Perez, of Long Island, was driving a Nissan Altima at 47th Street and 28th Avenue in Astoria when he crashed into a Honda pickup truck.

Perez continued driving and then crashed into two empty parked cars, according to authorities.

He and his passenger, 29-year-old Brooklyn resident Bridget Enriquez, were hospitalized. Police say Enriquez was later pronounced dead.

Perez now faces charges including drunk driving, according to authorities.
