A shooting inside a Bronx building Wednesday night has left a man dead, police say.

Police say the 38-year-old man was shot in the chest as he was taking out the trash at around 9:30 p.m.

According to the NYPD, they found the man lying unconscious in the hallway of the 19th floor of a NYCHA building at 3073 Park Ave.

The man was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

No arrests have been made.
