A man is in custody in connection to a fatal stabbing inside a Norwood apartment Sunday night.

News 12 is told officers responded to a 911 call just after 7 p.m.

According to police, they found the victim unconscious and unresponsive inside a second-floor apartment on East 206th Street and Perry Avenue with multiple wounds on his head and back.

Shortly after the discovery, first responders pronounced the man dead.

Authorities have a man in custody who is believed to be the victim's roommate.

The investigation is ongoing.
