Police: Man involved in bus crash arrested for driving without license

Police say a driver of a minivan involved in a school bus crash in Claremont was arrested for driving without a license.

Police say a driver of a minivan involved in a school bus crash in Claremont was arrested for driving without a license.
They tell News 12 that the driver, 35-year-old Julio Rodriguez-Algarroba, struck the school bus that had children inside after running a red light.
The incident happened around 7 a.m. Saturday morning near the Claremont Parkway and Fulton Avenue. The bus was headed to Long Island for a field trip.
The bus also hit several other cars as a result. No injuries were reported.
Rodriguez-Algarroba is also facing charges of reckless endangerment, aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and unlicensed operator.
