Police: Man killed, 2 others injured in Fordham Heights shooting; 1 in custody
Police say one person is in custody in connection to a fatal shooting in Fordham Heights early this morning.
Officers say three men in their 20s were shot at the intersection of East Burnside Avenue and Grand Concourse.
A 22-year-old man was shot in the head, and another was shot in the back. A 25-year-old man was also shot in the leg.
Police say the three men were taken to the hospital, where one of the 22-year-old men was pronounced dead at 6 a.m. The other two victims are in stable condition.
The NYPD has a 22-year-old person of interest in custody, but they haven't announced any charges yet.
