A man was robbed at gunpoint early Saturday morning while using an ATM inside a TD Bank, police say.
The robbery happened around 3:30 a.m. at the bank located at the corner of White Plains Road and Westchester Avenue.
According to police, a 24-year-old man was withdrawing cash from the ATM when he was approached by an armed man who demanded money. The suspect took $500 and fled on foot toward White Plains Road.
People visiting the bank later in the morning expressed concern over safety and the need for increased security.
Police are still searching for the suspect, described as a man in his 40s, wearing a blue shirt and blue jeans.
