5h agoPolice in Woodlawn are searching for a suspect that robbed a man of his MacBook.
Police say the suspect reached out to the 29-year-old victim on Facebook marketplace and set up a meeting to purchase his MacBook on Feb. 14.
When the two met up on the corner of Katonah Avenue and 235th Street, authorities say the suspect forcibly grabbed the MacBook out of the victim’s hands and ran off without paying.
The victim sustained minor injuries while attempting to fight off the suspect, but police say he is expected to be OK.
The suspect was last seen leaving in a dark colored BMW, according to authorities.
