Police are looking for a man they say sexually abused a 68-year-old woman while she was recovering in the hospital.
Police say the woman was in a coma inside NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln when a man entered her hospital room and sexually abused her Monday afternoon.
Police have released a picture of a man, seen inside the hospital's hallway. Police say there was one other patient in the victim’s room and that patient noticed the man when he walked in.
News 12 is told that patient felt something was wrong, so they called security and a nurse came in to check on the 68-year-old woman, who had been in a coma since April 21.
Police say when the nurse came in, the nurse saw a man with his mouth on one of the comatose victim’s breasts and called police.
After getting caught, police tell News 12 he fled.
The man police want to speak with walks with a limp and was wearing a white shirt, a jacket with red lapels,  black tie and red shoes
As of right now it’s not clear how the suspect got into the hospital.
