are searching for a man wanted for attacking a couple coming off the 4 train,
stabbing one of them.

12 is told the incident happened at near East 170th Street and Jerome Avenue.
A
husband and wife came across a man acting hostile on the subway.
The
victims told police on the train they got into a confrontation with the man.
Police
say the man then followed the husband and wife off the train, and began
punching the husband before stabbing him multiple times.

12 is told the victim’s wife tried to intervene, but the man pushed her down a
flight of stairs before fleeing.
Police
believe the wanted man is around 30 and around 5 feet 11 inches.
The
couple was taken to the hospital and treated for their injuries.

with information is asked to call police.
