Police: Man stabbed in the neck in Bronx playground
A 33-year-old man is recovering after getting stabbed in the neck early Wednesday morning in the Bronx, according to police.
Authorities say they were responding to calls about a fight at a playground near the Butler houses in Morrisania. The victim was found alone with a neck stab wound.
The man was rushed to the hospital in critical condition but has since stabilized. Police say his injuries are not life-threatening.
The attacker remains on the loose.
