Police: Man stabbed in the torso, another in the thigh in Bronx stabbings

Police say both of the attacks happened within an hour of each other in the Woodlawn and Mott Haven sections.

Two men have been injured in two separate Sunday stabbings in the Bronx, according to the NYPD.
Police say both of the attacks happened within an hour of each other in the Woodlawn and Mott Haven sections.
The first stabbing took place at the East 149th and Exterior streets just after 10 p.m. An unidentified person, who police believe to have been a man, stabbed a 23-year-old man in the thigh and robbed him of his cellphone.
The second stabbing happened at Jerome Avenue and East 233rd Street about one hour later. Police say a 32-year-old man was stabbed in the torso and was also slashed in the neck.
Both of the victims were treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
The suspects are still on the loose.
