Police: Man suffers broken nose, jaw in Wakefield assault

A man was assaulted last Saturday in the Wakefield section of the Bronx, police say.

A man was assaulted last Saturday in the Wakefield section of the Bronx, police say.
Investigators say a group of three men approached the 24-year-old man on White Plains Road and began arguing with him.
The suspects then began kicking and punching the victim before fleeing in a silver SUV.
The victim was taken to New York Presbyerian Hospital, where he was treated for a broken nose and jaw.
