Police: Man wanted for punching woman unconscious, raping her in Queens
According to authorities, the 49-year-old woman was walking home and was approached by man on a scooter on April 30.

The NYPD says a man is wanted for raping and assaulting a 49-year-old woman in Queens.
According to authorities, the 49-year-old woman was walking home and was approached by man on a scooter on April 30. He began to have a conversation with the woman, who later climbed onto the back of the scooter.
That's when police say the suspect took off near 48th Avenue and punched her in the face causing her head to hit the ground leaving her unconscious. Police say that man proceeded to rape her and when that woman regained consciousness, he took off.
The woman was taken to a hospital in serious but stable condition.
The suspect is still on the loose.
