Police: Moped driver dies in crash in Sunset Park
Police say the 41-year-old man was driving a moped near 3rd Avenue and 51st Street when he lost control and fell to the ground.

A moped driver died Wednesday after police say he lost control and slid into a Honda Civic.
Police say 41-year-old Waki Knight was driving an unregistered moped near 3rd Avenue and 51st Street when he lost control and fell to the ground. They say he then slid into a Honda Civic that was going down 51st Street.
The victim suffered severe head trauma and was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Police say the 26-year-old driver of the Honda was arrested and charged with unlicensed operation of a vehicle.
