An off-duty MTA subway conductor was fatally shot while walking to her home in Brooklyn, police say.
Jacqueline Dicks, 41, was fatally shot in front of Elton Street in East New York on Monday evening, just feet from where she lived.
The mother of six was on her way home from Queens where she works until 11 p.m. when she was shot once in the head and killed. She was pronounced dead at the scene, police say.
Police say Dicks' boyfriend picked her up from work and dropped her off at the street corner when they parted ways and he heard a gunshot in the distance.
Police say Dicks' boyfriend reported seeing at least three men running from the scene of the shooting.
He is being questioned by police.
However, no suspects have been identified.
