Authorities say an off-duty NYPD employee was shot in the leg overnight in University Heights.

The NYPD says the victim was grazed in the leg by a bullet while standing on Andrews Avenue just before 9:30 p.m.

According to the police, the off-duty employee only had a minor wound and refused medical attention.
