Police release images of 24-year-old Luis Aguero wanted in connection to the deadly shooting inside of a Fordham lounge on July 16.

Officers say they responded to a call of an assault at around 4:26 a.m. in front of 2362 Jerome Ave.

There they found 29-year-old Yeimy Reyes with a gunshot wound to the head. He was ultimately pronounced dead at the scene.

Police sources say Aguero is being sought as the gunman behind the shooting.

The morning of the incident, News 12 spoke exclusively with Reyes’ wife, Michelle, who said her husband was known in the area as a DJ. Michelle claims Reyes was selling sunglasses inside of the lounge before the shooting happened.

It’s still unclear what led to the bullets ringing out inside of the lounge.
