A pedestrian is in the hospital after getting hit by a car Monday night in Brooklyn.

According to police, the accident took place at around 7:30 p.m. at the corner of McGuinness Boulevard and Norman Avenue.

The victim was taken to a hospital, but there is no word yet on their condition.

The driver remained on the scene.
