Police have released video in connection to a fatal shooting in Soundview.

They say the shooting happened at around 10:40 p.m. Friday on Randall Avenue.

News 12 is told a 21-year-old man identified as Shaiquan Wilson was discovered with a gunshot wound to his torso. He was rushed to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The footage shows a masked man walking up beside a group of people and taking out a gun from his pocket.

The suspect is described as having a thin build and was last seen wearing a black hoodie, black pants with a white stripe on the side and black sneakers.
