Police have released video of a man they are searching for in connection to the fatal shooting of a 25-year-old woman in Melrose.

Police have released video of a man they are searching for in connection to the fatal shooting of a 25-year-old woman in Melrose.
The video shows a man running down a block with a gun in hand. Police say he fired at least four shots and is wanted in the killing of Priscilla Vasquez.

The NYPD say people called about an assault in front of 335 153rd Street round 5:30 a.m. Saturday. When officers arrived, they found Vasquez unresponsive and unconscious with a gunshot wound to the head.

News 12 is told the victim lived inside that building with her children, which is also in front of P.S. 1.

The surveillance video was taken from a restaurant nearby.
Police have also released surveillance video of a vehicle in connection with the case. They say they're searching for a dark-colored Chevrolet Traverse with Pennsylvania plates.
