Police have released images of a man wanted in connection to Friday night's fatal shooting of a bodega employee in Mott Haven.
The bodega, located on the corner of Brook Avenue and East 137th Street, has since been shut down.
Police told News 12 that on the night of the shooting, a man wearing a mask and holding a cane walked into the bodega and fired off shots.
Sources say they believe the death may have been drug-related.
The victim, Yahya Almuntser, was arrested the day before near the bodega by Bronx narcotics officers.
Officials say he was released right away because of the new bail reform, but when he went back to work the following day, the shooter may have killed him for losing the drugs and money during the arrest.
The Yemeni Merchants Association said Almuntser was a good man, and they are offering a $10,000 reward in the case.
