New video of the man wanted for attempting to rape a woman in Concourse Village earlier this month has been released by police.
The attacked happened around 3 a.m. on Aug. 9 near the corner of E. 163rd Street and Teller Avenue, where the suspect approached the 37-year-old victim and struck up a conversation with her before forcing her into a nearby apartment building, police say.
He then began undressing her, police say. The victim resisted and scratched him in the face, leading him to punch her, steal her phone, and run off.
The new video offers a better look at the suspect, with police describing him as around 5 feet 8 inches tall and around 130 pounds. He was last seen wearing an orange T-shirt with a dark bunny design and the word "Lucky Charm" on it and camouflage shorts.
