Police released video showing two individuals vandalizing Democratic Rep. Adriano Espaillat's Manhattan office, back on Oct. 8.

The video shows one individual taking a sledgehammer and smashing the glass exterior of the office. Moments later, another individual defames the front of the office with spray paint.

Due to the language spray painted outside, police say this incident is now being investigated as a hate crime.

Councilmember Oswald Feliz posted a photo to X of the aftermath.

"Harassment, vandalism, & disrupting constituent services in marginalized communities, does *nothing* to help achieve that," Feliz wrote in his post.

The NY Democratic Delegation published a joint statement in support of Espaillat, condemning the hateful act.

According to police, this isn't the first time Espaillat's office was vandalized. On Sep. 28, police say Espaillat's office was targeted with the same motive.

Officials are asking for the public's assistance to help find the two suspects.
