Police search for men wanted for shooting teen in West Farms
Police are searching for two men in connection to a shooting that left a teenager hospitalized last Saturday on Crotona Avenue.
Video footage shows a man in a black sweatshirt pull out a gun and fire three shots at a 17-year-old boy before fleeing at around 9:30 p.m.
There was also a man in a red sweatshirt, who police say was serving as a lookout.
Police tell News 12 that the victim was hit in the leg and treated at St. Barnabas Hospital.
He is in stable condition.
The NYPD says the individual who fired the gun is light-skinned between 16 and 18 years old. He was last seen with a blue New York Yankees baseball hat.
The other suspect is said to be dark-skinned between the ages of 16 and 18, with a red and blue jacket and an orange NASA sweatshirt.
Police say the lookout ran to a building after the incident, while the shooter initially ran that way before fleeing northbound on Crotona Avenue.
