Police say there has been a string of burglaries across Williamsburg and Greenpoint.
The NYPD says that over $30,000 has been stolen across eight businesses in Brooklyn. The last location the suspect hit was 12 Chair Café, where over $10,000 was stolen from a safe in the restaurant last Thursday.
The suspect was caught on camera once inside of Cozy Royale Tavern on Dec. 10. The manager of Brooklyn restaurant Jaja Mexicana, one of the restaurants struck by this burglary pattern, says he is very concerned for his business’ future.
“Honestly, it’s disheartening,” said Will Blackman, manager of Jaja Mexicana. “The management, staff, on all levels, especially with the holidays… it has been a substantial hit.”
Police have made no arrests at this time.
