Police say they are searching for three suspects who were last seen fleeing the scene of a shooting on Crosby Avenue in a yellow BMW. 

The yellow BMW the suspects fled in appears to belong to the victim of the shooting. 

Police say the victim was sitting in that car when three men approached and shot him once in the knee — before pulling him out of the car and driving off in it. 

Surveillance video captured the moment when the gunshot went off on Monday afternoon.

The 28-year-old victim, who neighbors say recently moved into the house right across the street from where he was shot, was taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi for treatment. 

Police say the yellow BMW had Pennsylvania plates. 

Neighbors tell News 12 they were left shaken up by the mid-afternoon shooting. Officials say the victim arrived at the hospital in stable condition and is expected to be OK.
