Stamford police are asking the public's help identifying two people of interest connected to catalytic converter thefts.
Police say two men were seen in the Cove Road area around 1 a.m. Wednesday possibly stealing catalytic converters.
Police say when patrol officers found the men sitting inside of a car in a lot, they took off at a high rate of speed.
Police say the car is a black Chevy SUV with New Jersey plates K99PRR.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Property Crime unit at 203-977-4407.
