A serial cellphone snatcher is on the run in the Bronx.
Police say the man is wanted for stealing at least four iPhones this month.
The alleged cellphone thief hit four neighborhoods from April 4 through April 7 using the same method each time.
According to police, the man rode up on a black moped, approached the victims from behind and stole their cellphone right out of their hand before he took off.
The first incident was reported on April 4 in front of 210 West 231st St. in Kingsbridge just before 10 p.m. He struck again two hours later in Crotona Park East, then headed toward Harrison Avenue in Morris Heights, where he stole a third iPhone just after midnight on April 5.
Police say the spree continued on April 7, when a fourth iPhone was reported stolen outside of a gas station on Castle Hill road in Unionport.
The man is described to be driving a black moped, dressed in all black with a face covering.
Police are asking anyone with information to call the Crime Stoppers hotline 1-800-577-TIPS.
