Police sources say a man was fatally shot inside a Mott Haven deli Friday night.
The man was shot several inside 217 Brook Ave., according to police, who also say that they are unable to confirm if the man who was shot was a customer or a worker at the deli.
Police sources tell News 12 that the man was 36 years old. Sources also say they believe the victim was previously arrested by Bronx narcotics officers on Thursday right around the corner from the deli.
Sources say that because of bail reform he was released, but that when he went back to the store, he was shot five times for losing drugs and money during his arrest on Thursday.
They say a man wearing a black coat with a fur collar was seen fleeing the scene.
