An off-duty officer is being sought as the person who shot a man in the head in Kingsbridge, according to police sources.

Police say that a 911 call came in for a man shot just after 9 p.m. Officers found a 30-year-old man with a gunshot sound to the head. He was taken by private means to New York Presbyterian-Allen Hospital in critical condition.

There are no arrests and the investigation is ongoing.
