Police: Sullivan County man arrested for helping his wife die by suicide

Police say Kenneth Alger III, 38, of Liberty, has been indicted on second-degree manslaughter in the death of his 31-year-old wife, Amanda.

A man who allegedly helped his wife die by suicide has been arrested in Sullivan County, according to police
Police say Kenneth Alger III, 38, of Liberty, has been indicted on second-degree manslaughter in the death of his 31-year-old wife, Amanda.
Her body was found last month in a secluded area of Liberty Cemetery on Cold Spring Road.
It has not been released how or where she died.
Alger was arraigned and remanded to the Sullivan County Jail without bail.
