Police: Suspect elbowed 70-year-old woman in the face, stole purse
Police said the suspect approached the woman, elbowed her in the face and stole her purse near East Kingsbridge Road and East Fordham Road just before 5 a.m. Sunday.

5h agoPolice are looking for a suspect who robbed a 70-year-old woman Sunday in Fordham Manor.
Police said the suspect approached the woman, elbowed her in the face and stole her purse near East Kingsbridge Road and East Fordham Road just before 5 a.m. Sunday.
The attack caused the woman to lose a tooth, police said.
Two good Samaritans chased after the suspect, police said, when the suspect tossed the purse before continuing to run down East 192nd Street.
Police are asking anyone with information relating to the suspect’s whereabouts to call them at 1-800-577-TIPS.
