Less than one month ago, police were on the scene after three people were shot on Davidson Avenue in University Heights.
Now the NYPD has identified the suspect they're searching for as 17-year-old Keiver Silva Jimenez.
Two of the three victims in the shooting lost their lives - Justin Lawless, 36, and Claretha Daniels, 44. A third victim was shot in the arm and recovered in the hospital.
News 12 first reported that the suspects fled the scene on a moped. Witnesses say they heard around 10 shots the night of the shooting.
Police say that the suspect connected to this double homicide came to the United States in May 2023 and is a migrant from Venezuela.
Law enforcement sources tell News 12 that this is now a matter that will be handled by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
