A man was killed in a stabbing Tuesday night in Brooklyn.
Officers say they responded to 248 Fourth Ave. at 10:23 p.m. and found a 37-year-old man with a stab wound to the abdomen and neck. A verbal dispute had taken place between the victim and the suspect inside of the store, police say.
Alsaidi, the employee of the store, says the victim got upset when he opened the door for the suspect, who didn't say thank you. Alsaidi says that's when they started fighting inside the store.
The fight continued outside where the suspect took out an unknown sharp object and stabbed the victim, police say.
The suspect then fled southbound on Fourth Avenue toward Carroll Street on an e-bike.
The victim was transported to New York Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital and pronounced dead.
No arrests have been made at this time.
